Congratulations Amy Hunter for being cast opposite Academy Award Winner Jaimee Foxx in The Kingdom due out next summer.  Go Amy!!!  A little more than two weeks before the festival we are so excited!

Okay I can breathe easier now.  Everything is ready to be mailed...Ooops too late for mail.  Thank God for Fed Ex.

Are you kidding me!!! John our editor still hasn't finished with the dvd and mini dvd because he is working on a movie.  Paul really had to enforce how important it was that we get everything done by Friday.  

Okay we are cutting it close.  We were informed by the festival that we needed to put the trailer and bonus scene on an uncompressed file.  We also needed the pilot, trailer and bonus scene on mini dvd by August 14th.  Not a problem.   Wait!!!!! Yes there is a problem.  Our wonderful editor is out of town and will be back until August 7th.   Okay, that's cool.   We can mail it out then.

 Oh my God!  I am just stunned.  Paul just gave me the news that we were accepted into the festival.  I was having a so-so day dreading my daily gym work out.  This news has really pumped me up.  Back in April, Paul and I went to The NYTVF Launch Party and saw so many young pilot makers bursting at the chance to get into this festival.  I knew at that moment this is where our project needed to be.  It needed to be with people who understood the plight of trying to break into television.  Since I got the news a few minutes ago I’ve checked the calendar and counted the days until we’re in New York.  I’m sure I’m not the only one, lol.  I can’t wait for the screening of “Rx” as well as get the chance to see the other pilots selected by the festival.   This is gonna be great.       - Torrance Hill
